Crank

Speed, force, and determination translated into light.

Crank draws from the language of motorsport engineering — specifically the crankshaft, an object defined by rotation, synchronization, and mechanical rhythm. The concept, named Ímpetu, translates those qualities into an interactive lamp: to turn it on, the user rotates a set of crankshaft-inspired discs and aligns them precisely, simulating the synchronization of engine parts. Only when every piece locks into position does the circuit close and the light come on — a deliberate, physical interaction that makes the act of switching on a lamp feel like something worth doing.
