I am David Rojas, a recent graduate in Industrial and Product Design from Universidad Anáhuac Mayab. I see design as a way to shape how people perceive and experience objects, and I believe a well-designed product can improve someone's day through function, clarity, or simply the feeling it creates when seen or used. My work has been recognized in national and international design competitions, where I have received an award and finalist selections, and further shaped by international experience at ELISAVA Barcelona. Alongside my design projects, I run an independent freelance practice and a 3D printing service, which keeps me close to the manufacturing side of every idea I develop. I approach each project with the intention of taking it as far as possible, working efficiently, and collaborating naturally within design teams.

My practice is grounded in precision, simplification, and viability. I focus on understanding the user, the object, and the manufacturing process, reducing ideas to their essential elements so they can be functional, buildable, and meaningful. Sustainability has become a growing priority in how I design and build, from material choices to the way a product's whole lifecycle is considered, a value I try to carry through everything I create, this website included. Drawing inspiration from architecture, art, history, and automotive culture, my work is expressed through a refined, minimalist language: not as a restriction, but as a way of keeping only what truly matters, so a design stays honest, direct, and relevant over time. I want to take products beyond aesthetics alone, toward objects that feel considered and enjoyable at every stage of their use. I adapt easily within teams, contributing through both leadership and collaboration, while maintaining an approachable, patient, and constructive attitude. I'm currently open to opportunities with design studios, agencies, and product teams internationally. Beyond product design, I occasionally take on brand identity, art direction, and photography work — a Portafolio Creativo of that side of my practice is available on request.
